Ryan Bird, Manager
Successful people have a similar approach to life, according to Ryan Bird, Manager of our busy Abbotsford Central location.
“No matter what age or level of professionalism we reach we are forever students in our chosen areas,” he says. “There is always an opportunity to learn, excel, achieve and grow.”
Ryan’s chose path started in 1999 with an apprenticeship at the shop he now manages, followed by a series of related positions in the automotive field. His journey is enriched by a lifelong commitment to Isshin-Ryu karate, which he began learning in his hometown of Mission, BC in 1987 and now teaches in his adopted home of Chilliwack.
“Hard work and transparency in our work makes an honest difference in how we portray ourselves,” he says. “My Dad and my Opa taught me the value of hard work and respect – without being so uptight that you don’t enjoy or find positive value in what you do. Smiling is as important on the job as the work itself.”
