Kevin Naismith
We at Craftsman Collision see ourselves as one big happy family, and sometimes it’s literally true. In Kevin Naismith’s case, his father David was a painter with the company for 19 years. Kevin started as a detailer in 2015, left for a spell to complete his schooling, then came back to Craftsman – first in parts, then estimating, and now, at 25, as our new Landmark Way shop manager. Kevin was a former national level gymnast who competed for Canada – and as you might expect from someone so accomplished, hard-working, energetic and driven. Why choose collision repair as a career? “It’s one of the fastest-growing industries in the world, and there is new knowledge almost every day,” he says. His approach to customer service? “Tell your customers the truth, even if it’s not what they want to hear. If you have something to hide, maybe you should rethink why you’re hiding it in the first place.”
