Raj Johal
Born and raised only 5 minutes from the Craftsman shop on Main Street that he manages, Raj Johal began his love affair with cars at an early age – first with the TV show Knight Rider, then when he was old enough, with cars of his own. “I am extremely passionate about my 2005 Mustang GT,” he says. “On weekends I’m usually at the Friday night drag races at Mission Raceway and at car shows.” With Craftsman for 10 years – six as Assistant Manager, the last four as Manager – Raj says his organizational zeal can be off-putting. The Dale Carnegie How to Win Friends and Influence People seminar series has helped him deal effectively with feedback from his staff as well as from customers.
