Mike Ross
If you agree that having a diverse background is an asset in any profession, Mike Ross borders on being overqualified. Our new Rutland shop manager built his CV in fields both automotive and non-automotive: as a fiberglass repairman, 13 years with ICBC, and as a mechanic then Canadian sales manager at an oil pump company. At age 50 he returned to school to study nursing and was his graduating class valedictorian. But he got back into collision repair managing a shop in Red Deer, Alberta before joining Craftsman in 2021 as a senior estimator. In early 2023, he took the reins of our Rutland location. His talents are broad but his customer service approach is simple: “Treat anyone who walks through the door as the most important person in your world at that moment.” To which we say ‘Amen.’
