Craftsman Collision and Auto Glass opened in Vancouver on Cambie Street in 1997 and is one block south of SW Marine Drive behind the Marine Gateway Shopping Mall. Ricky Shim
Vancouver born and raised, Ricky Shim has been passionate about cars ever since grade school. He started tinkering with aftermarket performance parts when he got his first car at age 16, and started his career with Craftsman as a detailer at our (former) 6th Avenue location. Being detail-oriented and a good problem solver allowed him to work his way up through the ranks – to parts and production, then estimator and now, 16 years later, as manager of our busy Cambie Street shop. His approach to business? “Try to see what customers are going through, and make the repair process as easy as possible for them.”
