Michael Whitley
Son of a very mobile mining professional, and with a background ranging from university psychology courses to carnival worker and oil rigs, Michael Whitney has tasted many flavours of life. But thanks to a favourite uncle in his childhood who worked as a body tech and had his own shop, he never lost his special attraction to collision repair. Today, after 15 years in his chosen profession in BC and Alberta, including five at Craftsman, our Bridge Street manager uses an approach that’s typical of our shop leaders: “Treat everyone who comes through the door as a friend or relative, and try to deliver the best value for all.” It works. At his previous shop, he elevated the Google review rating from 4.4 to 4.9. Outside of work, when not keeping busy with this two young boys, BC-born Michael enjoys playing six-string and bass guitar and practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
