We’re not taking COVID-19 lying down.

April 6, 2020

Dear valued customer;

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on what we are doing at Craftsman Collision for the health and safety of our customers and staff.

Craftsman Collision is an essential business

As an essential business, Craftsman Collision will be staying open during our regular business hours ¬(8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. weekdays), and applying important new protocols to keep our customers and staff safe and mobile during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Social distancing

To maintain social distancing, customers will be greeted in their car or admitted into reception only one at a time. We’ve modified our waiting areas to eliminate touch points. Office staff will be regularly disinfecting all high-traffic surfaces, and those who interact with customers will be wearing disposable gloves.

Health and safety

Before going into the shop for repair, your vehicle will be fully sanitized, then fitted with a driver’s seat cover and floor mat. Once repaired, it will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized inside and out, then refitted with a driver’s seat cover before being handed back to you. All Craftsman replacement vehicles will be similarly cleaned and sanitized, inside and out, before and after use.

Free two-way valet service

For extra convenience and safety, I’m excited to tell you about our free two-way valet service. Eligible customers can now call their nearest Craftsman location to have their damaged vehicle picked up, then returned to their home fully repaired – as well as cleaned, vacuumed and sanitized. For those who need one, a fully cleaned and sanitized replacement vehicle service can also be delivered to your door. Please contact your nearest location to see if this service will work for you.

Following Health Canada directives

Finally, we are observing Health Canada directives that require all employees to stay home for a 14-day isolation period if they have been outside Canada, or showing COVID-19 symptoms, or in close contact with anyone showing symptoms.

I believe these measures we’ve taken will help protect you and our staff without in any way compromising the amazing quality and service we at Craftsman have always been known for.

From our Craftsman Collision family to yours, please stay healthy and safe.
