“It is a top priority for the company to ensure employees’ health, safety and welfare at work.”

It is a top priority for the company to ensure employees’ health, safety and welfare at work are protected, promoting a positive work environment. This companies strategic pillar of safety was further enhanced by the hiring of a Health, Safety and Environment Manager in August 2019 to ensure day-to-day operations at 42 locations are compliant with all provincial regulatory bodies.

The decision to require all employees of the Craftsman Group to be fully vaccinated which includes subsequent dose and/or booster shot(s) by an approved Health Canada vaccination is another initiative to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees and customers. Craftsman will comply with its duty to accommodate for valid reasons under the applicable human rights law and/or medical condition(s), those employees who cannot be vaccinated.

“…Many of our shops cross the threshold of 100% vaccination rate.”

“Recently we have seen many of our shops cross the threshold of 100% vaccination rate. I thank all of the employees that have stepped up to get the vaccinations that protect all of us.”, said Rick Hatswell, President, Craftsman Collision. “This pandemic is greater than each individual person so please do your part to keep us all safe and let’s get back to life without this pandemic.”

The Company is committed to the implementation of new safety measures as they become available, as well as ongoing review of current policies in order to provide a safe and healthy work environment in response to the unprecedented challenges faced by COVID-19.

Bill Hatswell, Owner and CEO of the Craftsman Group, said: “These measures are to ensure the safety of our employees, customers and to keep the Canadian economy moving. We highly encourage others in our industry to follow Craftsman’s lead and implement a vaccination policy to create a healthy and viable industry.”
