Craftsman Collision recently ran a contest called “Got a Smashing Story”, giving residents of Kelowna and West Kelowna the chance to win an All Inclusive trip for 2 to the Mayan Riviera in the Mexican Caribbean.
We asked for people to submit their unusual or funny accident story through the Craftsman Collision website. To get contestants inspired the owner of Craftsman Collision, Bill Hatswell shared a true story, “My 7 year old was keen on helping me wash my car, so I thought, why not? Halfway through I asked him how it was coming along, and he said “It’s real shiny under the paint!” He decided to use steel wool to make dad proud. Collision repair was definitely in his future!”
This little bit of inspiration seemed to have worked, we received hundreds of contest submissions. Each accident story was so funny and unique in their own way. Out of all our submissions, we are very happy to announce the winner of “Got a Smashing Story”…..drum roll please…..
